Local 121

Private Events

Walking into Local 121 you may well be forgiven for thinking you’ve walked through a portal back into a different era. Formerly the famed Dreyfus Hotel and Restaurant, a popular spot frequented by patrons of the city’s bustling theater district during the days of prohibition, Local 121’s patina of elegance is still intact. Magnificently restored by renowned architects Durkee, Brown, Viveiros & Werefels and Judd Brown Designs, Local 121 will provide an elegant and unique setting for your next corporate lunch, reception, dinner party, or gala event.

Our private dining room, a former Speakeasy, located on the lower level of the restaurant can accommodate 14 to 56 seated guests and up to 80 guests for a standing cocktail reception. The Speakeasy is fitted with state of the art audiovisual equipment and features a private bar and separate sound system.

Local 121’s environment is illuminated by Chef Dave Johnson’s inspired American cuisine celebrating  locally harvested, naturally raised ingredients and our staff’s unprecedented hospitality. The following menus will give you an idea of what we can offer as our menus change seasonally and are based on the finest ingredients in the daily market. We will work with you to create a menu suited to your tastes and season availability.
